OUR LAND

THE HARMONY OF THE LAND

Hills and esplanades. Plains and heights. Harmonious variations that seem to indulge nature's imagination. Typical and characteristic colours and shades, backdrops of sunsets that resemble postcards and sunrises that announce new palpitating days of work. The sounds of endless fields, of full and lush trees. Such is this corner of Italy. Southern Italy, Apulia, the Tavoliere.

THE TREASURE CHEST

Sweet and slightly fruity flavour. Harmonious bitter aftertaste. Almond, artichoke, tomato. The scent of freshly threshed wheat, of flourishing earth, of olive trees. Each peranzana, in its unmistakable shape that characterises and distinguishes it, is a treasure chest of flavours and sensations.

It tells the story of Apulia, the Daunia tradition, the skills of those who care for it. The bright yellow which is characteristic of these parts and the gold that flows along the Tavoliere sheep-tracks.

  OUR LAND

THE HISTORY THAT WAS

The ducal castle of Torremaggiore. The six Norman towers, Swabian, Aragonese and Angevin influences. Feudal hierarchies and lost prestige. It is one of the symbols of a land rich in history, one of the emblems of the Alto Tavoliere. Since time immemorial, this part of Daunia has been the vanguard of first-class agriculture; rites and traditions that have evolved over time, ensuring ever-greater quality to the produce of the land.
